Self-Healing for Pressure Point Fighting Practitioners
There is a need for practitioners of pressure point fighting to learn methods for re-balancing the body after a pressure point training session. Medical qigong is one of the four branches of traditional Chinese medicine, along with acupunture, massage, and herbal medicine. A foundational medical qigong routine that includes the three essential components of a session (purgation, tonification, regulation) is offered. This is a safe and effective qigong routine which balances the body's energetic system after a pressure point training session. During martial arts kyusho training, practitioners often pick up toxic qi from a training partner, as well as experience emotional releases and altered body function (physical, emotional, and spiritual). This easy to learn routine helps a practitioner accomplish self-healing by purging one's channels and organs of toxic qi absorbed during a pressure point training session, tonify the respective organs, and regulate the overall body. Performing this routine after training will balance a practitioners physical, emotional, and spiritual energies.
