Dillman Method (Pressure Point) Seminars
Seminars can cover kata bunkai (applications), pressure point theory and application of traditional Chinese medicine principles to martial movements, body mechanics, natural movement and reactions, self-defense and women’s self-defense, and tuite (joint manipulation) using pressure points.. Matt Hayat holds Master rank in the Dillman Method of Pressure Point Fighting. He is available for martial arts seminars in your area. Matt instructs regularly at the Dillman Karate International (DKI) Martial Arts Training Camps (MATCs) in Deer Lake, PA, and is a direct student of DKI Senior Instructor 8th Dan and Author Chris Thomas.

Much of the knowledge covered in the fundamental curriculum taught within DKI is still not known to many serious martial artists. The meaning of physical movements found in traditional forms/katas (pre-arranged sequences of martial movements) is the once hidden arts of kyusho-jitsu (pressure point strikes) and tuite (joint manipulations). Pressure point fighting was not taught to Americans after World War II. The knowledge shared in seminars is applicable to any martial arts style.
